Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Serveur to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Serveur will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling opportunities
