Role Summary:

Our London Ontario branch is looking for an experienced Service Sales Representative to join the team. The Service Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling fire inspection services to commercial, industrial, and residential clients. The Life Safety scope is inclusive of the Fire Alarm, Fire sprinkler and Security fields.

This role involves identifying potential clients, establishing relationships, explaining the benefits of fire/life safety inspections, and closing sales to help ensure the safety and compliance of client properties. This is an existing vacancy.

Key Job Responsibilities:

· Sales and Business Development:

o Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other proactive outreach methods.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.

o Understand client needs, present suitable fire inspection solutions, and create customized proposals.

o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients and stakeholders.

· Client Consultation:





o Conduct thorough site assessments to understand the fire safety requirements of client properties.

o Explain the importance of fire inspections and the benefits of regular maintenance and compliance.

o Provide clients with detailed information about the various fire inspection services and package offerings, including regulatory requirements and safety standards.

· Sales Administration:

o Prepare accurate and timely sales quotes, contracts, and proposals.

o Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline.

o Achieve sales targets and goals as set by the company.

o Collaborate with the fire inspection and service teams to ensure smooth fulfillment of client needs.

· Customer Service:

o Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.

o Address client inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.

o Educate clients on fire safety topics and best practices.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development roles.

· College Diploma in Fire Protection Technology preferred

· Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills.

· Ability to understand and explain technical information related to fire safety and inspections.

· Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of fire codes, regulations, and standards (NFPA/OBC Building code, Ontario Fire Code) are preferred

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and positive attitude.

· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to achieving targets.

· Strong knowledge of computer-based applications (Microsoft Office Suite etc.)

· Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.

· Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
