Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a combination of bartending and serving skills, with a focus on food safety, timely service, and cash handling.

Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Duties

- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly as per standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to deliver prompt service without compromising quality




- Assist in setting up the bar area before shifts and cleaning up after closing shifts
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, promoting repeat business

Experience

- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly advantageous
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
