Position Summary The ShelfGenie Sales Designer is responsible for meeting with homeowners in their homes to design custom storage and organization solutions and guide clients through the sales process from consultation to final agreement. This role blends interior design, problem-solving, and consultative sales, and is ideal for a motivated, personable skilled who enjoys working directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-home consultations with qualified leads
- Accurately measure spaces and assess customer storage needs
- Design custom pull-out shelving and storage solutions using company design software
- Present design options, pricing, and product features clearly and professionally
- Close sales and complete customer agreements during the appointment
- Upload measurements, designs, photos, and notes into company systems
- Coordinate with operations and installation teams to ensure project accuracy
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first visit through installation

Qualifications and Skills

- Sales, design, home improvement, renovation, or related experience preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Basic computer and mobile software proficiency
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
