Role Description The Shift Manager is a full-time, in office role located in Duncan, BC, responsible for overseeing daily store operations during assigned shifts. This role includes supervising team members, organizing shift schedules, and ensuring that food preparation, order accuracy, and delivery times meet company standards.

The Shift

Manager monitors service quality, supports customer interactions, addresses concerns, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.



Day-to-day tasks include coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house activities, managing cash handling procedures, and assisting with inventory checks and basic reporting.

The Shift

Manager also trains and coaches staff members, promotes teamwork, and supports the Store Manager in meeting performance and sales goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong leadership, team supervision, and staff coaching skills.
- Candidates should possess customer service, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Candidates should possess time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Candidates should possess basic cash handling, point-of-sale operation, and numerical accuracy skills.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail skills.
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or hospitality in a supervisory or shift lead role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of food safety and workplace safety practices is an asset.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Duncan, BC location is preferred.
