Superior Farm Equipment Ltd. brings together the rich legacies and expertise of Rite Way Manufacturing and Morris Equipment Ltd., two western Canadian companies dedicated to providing quality, performance-based equipment for farmers worldwide.

We are recruiting to fill a Shipper/Receiver position who can work well with and without supervision at a production pace to join our team at our Manufacturing facility in Regina, SK. The shift is Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts.

Job Duties

- Receives all incoming goods verifying quantities received against quantities shipped on packing slips.
- Completes Return to Vendor forms when shipping purchased goods back to vendor.
- Issues all parts and supplies to dealers and records transactions on the appropriate work order.
- Responsible for the packaging and shipping of goods via mail or courier as required.
- Ensures that all returned or warranty parts are returned to inventory so the dealership recovers full credit from the factory.
- Works with the plant managers to ensure availability and timely turnaround of parts needed for production
- Assists in analyzing departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, product quality, and safety standards.
- Perform Other Duties as Required

Requirements




- High School Diploma plus a two-year technical educational program, or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Computer literate
- Demonstrated team leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working setting.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times

Additional Requirements (can be attained after hiring)
- · Forklift license
- · WHMIS training

Work Conditions
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regular light physical effort (bending, reaching, carrying light items, walking, standing)
- Regular heavy physical effort (carrying, lifting or pushing heavy items)
- Regular reading of documentation and work on computer screens
- Regularly dealing with simultaneous multiple demands which must be attended to immediately
- Occasional (i.e. during the spring planting season) peak periods requiring an accelerated work pace over which you have no control, or deadlines creating pressure
- Overtime as required.
- Hazards associated with a manufacturing environment
