Role Overview This position supports a discrete project and will be responsible for reviewing deal documentation, identifying secured collateral filings in the US (UCC statements) and Canada (e.g., PPSAs), and extracting information to facilitate tracking those filings. The role requires familiarity with loan documentation and collateral filings in either the US or Canada, or preferably both. Prior paralegal or similar experience, proficiency in Excel, and ability to work independently with close attention to detail are prerequisites.

Key Responsibilities
• Review loan and deal documentation.
• Identify and validate collateral filings.
• Review PPSA filings in Canada.
• Review UCC filings in the United States.
• Extract and track filing information in Excel.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting logs.
• Support collateral tracking initiatives and project deliverables. Required Qualifications and Experience
• 4+ years of experience in a legal, paralegal, law clerk, loan documentation, or secured lending setting.
• Knowledge of PPSA filings (Canada) and/or UCC filings (United States).
• Strong Excel proficiency and exceptional attention to detail.
• Previous experience working in a law firm, legal department, or related legal environment.
• Experience reviewing legal, loan, financing, or collateral documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications
• Paralegal Diploma, Legal Assistant Diploma, Law Clerk Diploma, or equivalent legal education.
• Law firm experience.
• Commercial lending or secured lending experience.
• Experience with PPSA and/or UCC filings.
• Exposure to both Canadian and U.
S. collateral filing processes. Required Skills

• 100% back-office work with no customer-facing or call-center responsibilities.
• Individual contributor role working independently with support from the broader legal and operational teams as needed.
• Flexible work arrangement with potential remote work.

• Approximately 30 minutes. The expected base salary range for this position is $22 – $25 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
