Winter Season 2026-2027 - roughly Nov 15 to April 15 weather dependant

Verdant DBM Inc. is hiring reliable Snow Shovellers and Sidewalk Crew Members for the upcoming winter season.

We're looking for hardworking individuals who can help keep residential, commercial, and municipal properties safe and accessible during snow and ice events. If you're dependable, physically fit, and don't mind working in winter weather, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Shovel and clear snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, stairs, and other designated areas.
- Apply salt and ice-melting products as directed.
- Operate snow blowers and small sidewalk equipment when required.
- Ensure assigned sites remain safe and accessible throughout snow and ice events.
- Report site conditions, hazards, and any issues to supervisors.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to complete routes on schedule.

Requirements
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset.
- Must be available for on-call shifts during snow and ice events.
- Ability to work overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.




- Ability to work safely in challenging winter conditions.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in cold, snowy, and icy conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to walk long distances and perform repetitive shoveling tasks.
- Capable of standing, bending, and working for extended periods during snow events.
