Role Description This is an unpaid, remote internship role for a Social Media Marketing Intern at DeafDive. The intern will support the planning and execution of social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X. Day-to-day tasks include creating and scheduling posts, drafting social copy, assisting with easy visual content, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or messages under guidance.

The intern will help track basic performance metrics, conduct light research on trends and competitors, and suggest content ideas that align with DeafDive’s mission and audience.



The role offers hands-on experience in social media marketing for an accessibility-focused, early-stage product.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support campaign planning and basic performance tracking.
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop engaging posts aligned with brand voice and audience needs.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact respectfully with online communities.
- Interest in accessibility, Deaf culture, or inclusive technology is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and follow guidance and feedback.
- Basic familiarity with major social platforms and simple content tools (e.g., Canva or similar) is an advantage.
- Current students or recent graduates in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
