Are you looking to launch or advance your career in software engineering and data science? BUSCONNEXX INC. is looking for a motivated and analytical Software Engineer to join our team and help develop, enhance, and maintain our agile data management solutions for mobile and remote networks.

Since 2003, BUSCONNEXX INC. has been a leading provider of onboard Wi-Fi and connectivity solutions for municipal transit systems, commercial tour operators, and scheduled bus services.

Delivering reliable network performance and an exceptional customer experience is at the core of what we do. The successful candidate will play an important role in improving our software platforms, optimizing network management, and transforming data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze user requirements, identify technical challenges, and develop effective software solutions.
- Collaborate with the project owner and management team to define requirements, establish priorities, and deliver solutions that meet project specifications.
- Develop data visualization tools and analytical solutions to monitor data flows, network activity, and system performance.
- Create and maintain RouterOS scripts to support network management, monitoring, and control at the network edge.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize database structures and records using relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Build and enhance front-end user interfaces for customer-facing portals and Network Operations Centre (NOC) management platforms.




- Support ongoing improvements to software functionality, system reliability, and the overall customer experience.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of our network management solutions.

Required Skills & Technologies Experience with the following technologies is an asset but is not required. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and develop their technical skills.
