- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to facilitate communication improvement and swallowing safety.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and families to coordinate care.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to maximize recovery.
- Document clinical findings, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing techniques.
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Prior experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments.
- Experience managing cases across pediatric populations with diverse communication needs.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings.
