Dance Co, a prominent multiple location dance studio in Vancouver is looking for new additions to our Wardrobe Department! Dance Co has a full wardrobe department that supplies all of our dancers uniform and costume items for the season.

Do you have a passion for creating fabulous costumes? We are looking for a Stitcher/Pattern Maker/Designer to add to our team. You will be creating and bringing our costumes to life!

This is a full time position – 8 hours a day. We are looking for a hardworking person who likes to work individually as well as with a team!

Qualifications

Relevant post-secondary education and a minimum 1+ year of pattern making/stitching experience

Ability to work from pattern blocks and/or sketches

Practical knowledge of garment construction





Effective English skills (verbal and written)

Experience with a variety of textiles, especially stretch(!)

Experience sewing/altering garments

Ability to work in a rapid paced environment and multi-task
