About Us

New Horizons Truck Driving School Inc. is an established commercial driver training institution with locations in Ottawa and Mississauga. We specialize in AZ/DZ truck driver training, Air Brake (Z) endorsement, dispatch courses and refresher courses — helping students become safe, skilled, confident commercial drivers. We're hiring an energetic, organized, results-driven coordinator for our Ottawa team.

The Role

You'll own the student journey from first inquiry to registration: outbound sales calls, follow-ups, admissions paperwork, scheduling, and day-to-day student support — plus a hand in our social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound sales calls and follow up with prospective students through to registration; work toward enrollment targets
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries; explain programs, fees, schedules, and registration requirements
- Guide students through registration; collect, verify, and organize all required documentation
- Build and communicate training schedules for students and instructors; notify of changes and cancellations
- Maintain accurate lead, registration, and student records in line with regulatory requirements
- Resolve student concerns promptly and keep students informed throughout their training
- Assist with social media posts, promotions,



and marketing initiatives

What You Bring

- Excellent verbal and written English; strong phone presence
- 2+ year of customer service experience (required); comfortable making outbound sales calls
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and work independently
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, online systems)
- Professional, reliable, customer-focused attitude

Preferred

- Sales, admissions, or office admin experience; background in a training or driving school environment
- Social media marketing and lead/database management experience
- Knowledge of commercial driver training; additional languages an asset

Compensation & Benefits

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses tied to student registrations
