Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Sub/On-Call Infant and Toddler/ECE/ECEA licensed caregiver to join our early childhood education team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, providing high-quality care and education to young children. The position is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood development, with the ability to adapt to varying schedules and classroom needs.

Duties

- Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers in accordance with licensing standards and classroom policies.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental growth, including play, learning exercises, and social interactions.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to ensure consistency in care and educational approaches.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, needs, and daily experiences.
- Follow all licensing regulations and company policies related to child safety, health, and welfare.
- Document observations,



incidents, and developmental milestones accurately using appropriate tools or software.

Requirements

- Valid Childcare License (ECE or ECEA) required; additional certifications such as Special Education or Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Experience working with children, especially infants and toddlers; experience with children with disabilities is advantageous.
- Bilingual abilities (e.g., English/French) preferred to support diverse family needs.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Organizational skills necessary for managing classroom activities, documentation, and time efficiently.
- Computer literacy including basic computer operation for record keeping or communication purposes.
- Classroom experience demonstrating knowledge of early childhood education principles.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed; on-call availability required.
- Excellent time management skills coupled with leadership qualities to support team functions when needed.

This role provides an enriching environment where caregivers can make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while developing their professional skills within the early childhood education field. Pay: $19.00-$29.00 per hour
