We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Maker to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be the artist behind creating beautiful, delicious sushi dishes that delight our guests. Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh sushi ingredients with precision and care, including slicing fish, preparing rice, and assembling rolls.
- Create visually appealing sushi presentations that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for sushi preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours.
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food handling, storage, and hygiene practices.
- Support the training of new team members in sushi preparation techniques and safety procedures.

Requirements





- Proven experience in food preparation, especially in sushi making or related culinary skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of raw fish and seafood products.
- Experience working in a restaurant or food service setting with a focus on quality and cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing precise knife work and food assembly.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in sushi preparation, such as rice cookers, knives, and cutting boards.
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
