Position Summary The Clinic Attendant supports daily clinic operations by keeping procedure rooms, recovery areas and other designated spaces clean, organized and adequately stocked. The attendant works with nursing and other clinic staff to maintain an efficient, safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Room setup: Prepare procedure and recovery areas between patients
- Room turnover: clean and disinfect designated surfaces, and reset rooms according to clinic infection prevention and control procedures.
- Bed cleaning: Clean and disinfect beds, stretchers, mattresses, bedrails and other patient contact surfaces between patients.
- Restocking: Replenish routine supplies. Monitor stock levels and notify the appropriate staff when supplies are low.
- Inventory handling: Receive, unpack, move and organize supplies in designated storage areas. Rotate stock, check expiry dates and keep storage areas tidy and accessible.
- General upkeep: Keep work areas and supply rooms organized, maintain clear walkways, and report spills, hazards, damaged equipment or maintenance needs promptly.

Assist with other nonclinical duties as assigned to support patient flow and daily operations.

Safety and Scope of Duties

- Follow clinic policies for hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, cleaning, disinfection and safe lifting.
- Use cleaning products according to instructions and required contact times.
- Protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Perform only duties for which training and authorization have been provided. Clinical care, patient transfers, sharps handling and medical device reprocessing require specific authorization and training.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

- Reliable, organized and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to work efficiently and respectfully with patients and clinic staff.
- Previous cleaning, healthcare support or inventory experience is an asset.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and safely move supplies and equipment, with accommodation as required.

Job Type: Part time Pay: From $19.00 per hour
