Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain quality blood samples using venipuncture techniques
- Perform ECG's, Holter Hookups, and specimen collections
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
- Sort and prepare specimens for laboratory transportation
- Contribute to departmental quality metrics and compliance
Requirements:
- Completed Secondary School and Lab Assistant training
- Certified in phlebotomy with MLPAO/CSMLS recommended
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to manage anxious patients effectively
- Prioritize tasks in a deadline-oriented environment
