Classification: Personal Support Worker (PSW) with Medication Administration Certification

Schedule: Full-time nights – 8-hour shifts

Location: Vankleek Hill, Ontario (between Ottawa and Montreal)

Mayfair Vankleek Hill is a boutique retirement home community nestled in the heart of Eastern Ontario, midway between Ottawa and Montreal. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified UCP to join our night team.

Qualifications

- PSW Certification (required) or current RPN student in good standing
- Successful completion of a Medication Management Course with passing grade
- Recent WHMIS Certificate
- Compliance with all education requirements as per RHRA standards

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

- Perform all duties associated with the In-Charge shift in accordance with established job descriptions
- Provide safe, compassionate, and resident-centred care during night shifts
- Administer medications in accordance with training and regulatory standards
- Maintain flexibility to assist with call-ins, vacation coverage, and holiday shifts as required




- Support new admissions and adapt to evolving resident care needs
- Perform physical duties including lifting, transferring, bending, reaching, pushing, stretching, and extended walking
- Exercise sound judgment and responsible decision-making in daily tasks
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, leadership, JHSC representatives, and the General Manager
- Demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy, and mentorship toward new team members
- Work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- Utilize computer systems and relevant software programs efficiently
- Maintain accountability for all signed training and adherence to Mayfair Living Policies & Procedures

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
