TDL Tech Limited is seeking motivated, skilled, and safety-conscious Underground Electricians to join our growing team in Sudbury, Ontario. Multiple positions are available to support ongoing underground mining operations, electrical installations, maintenance, and long-term project development.

We are looking for qualified tradespeople with underground electrical experience who take pride in their work, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, and are committed to maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and underground electrical cabling.
- Install, service, and maintain generators and associated electrical systems.
- Install, extend, and maintain underground electrical mine services to support daily mining operations and advancing mine development.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain leaky feeder radio communication systems.
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components on underground mining equipment, including jumbo drills, bolters, and ITH drills.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and wiring schematics to complete installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Identify electrical faults, diagnose equipment issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Follow all applicable safety regulations, company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other trades to support efficient underground operations.

Qualifications and Requirements





- Valid Ontario 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician or 442A Industrial Electrician licence.
- Previous underground mining electrical experience is required.
- Practical knowledge of underground electrical construction, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and wiring schematics.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team in a demanding underground environment.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety, equipment reliability, and quality workmanship.
