Overview

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Videographer / Content Creator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling, with a strong eye for aesthetics and the ability to capture engaging, high-quality content across a variety of environments.

No two days look quite the same at Mudita Media! You'll travel to different client locations throughout Saskatoon, capturing content for social media, marketing campaigns, and special events.

One day you might be filming behind the scenes at a local restaurant, the next capturing the action at a hockey game, covering a community market, or creating promotional content for a local business.

You'll be provided with daily shot lists and creative direction outlining the content needed for each client. Your role will be to bring those ideas to life while using your creativity and technical skills to capture compelling visual content.

We're looking for someone who is confident behind the camera, adaptable to different filming environments, and excited to work on a wide variety of creative projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Travel to multiple client locations throughout Saskatoon and surrounding areas to capture high-quality photo and video content.
- Follow daily shot lists and creative direction provided by the Mudita Media team.
- Plan and capture engaging content for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Film short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media channels.
- Capture content at a variety of locations, including restaurants, retail stores, sporting events, local markets, community events, private parties, and more.
- Use creative framing, lighting, camera movement, and visual storytelling techniques to produce compelling content.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to develop content ideas that align with client branding, messaging, and campaign goals.
- Identify opportunities to capture additional creative shots,



candid moments, and behind-the-scenes footage beyond assigned shot lists.
- Work professionally and confidently with business owners, employees, customers, and event attendees.
- Organize, manage, and upload captured footage and photos in a timely manner.
- Manage multiple shoots and projects while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines.
- Stay up to date with current trends in videography, photography, and digital content creation to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Adapt to changing schedules, client needs, and different filming environments.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in videography, photography, or professional content creation, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work.
- Must own and be comfortable operating a professional-quality camera suitable for photo and video content creation.
- Must be able to bring their own camera equipment to scheduled client shoots. Mudita Media has additional production equipment available to borrow, including lenses, gimbals, and other accessories to support different filming needs.
- Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, composition, framing, camera movement, sound recording, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms, websites, marketing campaigns, or promotional events.
- Ability to follow detailed shot lists while bringing creativity and initiative to each shoot.
- Comfortable filming in fast-paced environments, including sporting events, busy restaurants, and public events.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a creative team.
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and adaptable to different client environments.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for travel between client locations.

- Experience creating content for businesses, brands, or marketing agencies.
- Experience with sports, event, or commercial videography.
- Photography skills and experience capturing both photo and video content.
- Familiarity with video editing software.
- Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or other photo editing software.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, social media strategies, and content performance.
- Experience developing creative concepts, scripts, or storyboards.
