We are two young families seeking a nanny for a shared childcare arrangement. This would be Monday to Friday, 3 days per week with one child (9 months) and 2 additional days per week with both children (9 and 15 months). Care would be in one family's home where mom works from home.
Hours: 7:30-3:3... days per week, 7:30-5:0... days per week, and 7:30-1:00 Friday
Job to start in December for younger child with second child joining in January
Pay range: $22-24 per hour based on experience
Duties: Caring for children
Feeding children (food and supplies to be provided by parents)
Playing with children indoors and outdoors as weather permits
Creating an engaging and enriching schedule for the children
Cleaning up after children including washing children's dishes and bottles
Requirements: Police record and vulnerable sector checks required
Must have experience with caring for infants under 1
Must have first aid training (parents willing to pay for your course if you can find one before the start date)
Must have reliable transportation
Must be willing to get all COVID and Flu vaccination boosters
Must be a non smoker
Must be fluent in English as our children will be learning to talk
Must be comfortable with cats and dogs as there are two cats and a dog in the house
Preference given to those who have additional early childhood experience, education, or certifications
Preference for those that are bilingual and willing to teach second language to our children
Preference given to those already permitted to work in Canada
