- Monday - Thursday: 8:15 AM to 3:25 PM
- Friday: 8:15 AM to 11:50 AM (Staff will be required to stay longer when training is being held)*

Duration of Position: Immediately - June 29, 2027

*This is a temporary position and is pending the return of the person being replaced

ABOUT THE POSITION: Eastbrook Elementary is seeking applications for a Mainstream Educational Assistant (EA) to support elementary level students in their learning, development, and preparation for success in the grades ahead.

This is a full-time, temporary position beginning immediately, and ending on June 29, 2027, or the return of the person being replaced.

Please note: this position is under temporary contract, duration of this position could be shortened or extended based on the return of the person being replaced.

Eastbrook Elementary School is a dynamic and diverse elementary school serving our local communities and families. Our mosaic of families from around the world and those that have called Brooks and Alberta home for generations reflects the multicultural makeup of Canada. Our staff and service providers deliver interventions and support to ensure the greatest chance for success for all students. We currently serve approximately 465 students from PreKindergarten to Grade 6. We offer a comprehensive PUF program for 3 & 4-year-olds, an Early English Language Learners program for qualifying 4-year-olds, an English Language Learner program for students arriving with little or no English language skills, and an engaging learning program for Grades Kindergarten to Grade 6. We pride ourselves on our Student Support Services, who collaborate with teachers, families, community services and Grasslands Division Student Support Services to ensure we meet all our learners' needs.
