As a vital part of the WNHAC team, the Wellness Worker supports clients' healing journeys by facilitating outreach activities and delivering healing services. You will empower Indigenous practices and communication, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support in their path to wellness. This position requires a deep understanding of health and wellness, along with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach activities and information sessions
- Facilitate and monitor healing lodge services
- Complete and maintain essential documentation
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of facilities
- Support client follow-up and service referrals
Requirements:
- Diploma in a social services field or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of Indigenous culture and values
- Proven experience with at-risk families
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and immunization proof
