The Company is seeking a Vice President, Operations and Business Development to play a pivotal role in the organization's evolution. This executive will serve as a strategic partner to the President & CEO, driving organizational excellence across various functions, including finance, human resources, business development, and operational performance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of the organization, with a focus on modernizing governance, operations, and growth strategy to support the rapidly evolving life sciences ecosystem.

Key responsibilities for the Vice President include leading the association through growth, transformation, and modernization, and building the systems, structures, and capabilities necessary for future success. The role demands a seasoned operational executive with a solid business acumen, financial literacy,



and a proven track record in organizational leadership.

The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a background in leading organizations through significant change and will be adept at engaging with a Board on financial performance, developing revenue growth strategies, and strengthening systems and processes. While experience in an association, membership-based organization, or not-for-profit environment is valuable, candidates from other sectors with transferable leadership experience will also be considered. The role requires a proactive, accountable, and data-driven individual who is passionate about building organizational capacity and driving sustainable impact. Functional bilingualism in English and French is an important asset, reflecting the company's commitment to a national presence and engagement.
