* Rate: $101/hour Overview The Government Services Integration Cluster, under the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team in Toronto. In this role, the consultant will be responsible for translating technical system specifications into working, tested applications and supporting the full software development lifecycle. This is a fully onsite engagement requiring hands-on development expertise in Azure, .
NET, and up-to-date CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications including developing detailed programming specifications
• Write, generate, and review code; compile data-driven programs and conduct unit testing
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems arising during use and operation of software packages
• Provide technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migration activities
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications, Web APIs, and web services using ASP.
NET and .
NET Core
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tooling including task boards and pipelines
• Develop and integrate custom Web APIs leveraging REST, OpenAPI, OAuth2, Entity Framework, and Azure SQL
• Collaborate with IT professionals across the Software Development Life Cycle using Agile/Kanban methodologies
• Elicit and document information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Conduct design walkthrough sessions with project teams and prepare technical documentation including reports, reviews, and assessments




• Provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
• Apply latest design patterns and best practices in application design, deployment, and troubleshooting Must-Have Requirements
• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies including Kanban and task board usage
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling
• Hands-on experience with Web Apps, Web API, and Web Services development using ASP.

• Working knowledge of development in Azure technologies and cloud platforms
