About Aces and Oak We’re a Calgary-based digital marketing agency creating scroll-stopping social media content for brands across Canada. The Role We are looking for a Content Editor to transform raw assets into finished social posts, including editing videos, designing carousels and graphics, and writing engaging messaging. You will start on a per-deliverable basis (edited videos and designed carousels). We typically start with 1–2 clients and scale your workload as workflow and trust build. Over time, strong performers will have the opportunity to transition into a full Social Media Manager role overseeing end-to-end client content creation and platform management. What You’ll Do
• Edit short-form videos, including S-Log3 colour grading
• Design carousel and graphic posts
• Write engaging on-screen text and carousel copy
• Adapt content to platform-specific formats and best practices
• Write messaging and hooks tailored to social media and each client's brand voice What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in video editing, graphic design, and social media content creation
• Proficiency with video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and design tools (Illustrator, Canva)




• Confidence color grading S-Log3 footage alongside standard mobile video
• Strong copywriting skills, including storytelling, researching hooks, and using AI tools to enhance efficiency
• A sharp, strategic eye for high-performing social media content and evolving platform trends
• Explicit, proactive communication, with a habit of asking questions early to keep projects moving
• Comfort with a fast-paced workflow: unlimited revisions with a 1–2 day turnaround
