• Excellent communication skills
• Understand business process and refine business requirements with stakeholders
• Analyze current state and identify/document gaps between current state and requirements
• Define future state solution architecture using design tools
• Meet solution security and availability requirements with architectural designs
• Define future state data architecture / models
• Define high level steps/plan/resources to achieve future state
• Complete customer required specs, for requirements, architecture, and design, to garner solution approval across all stakeholders
• Define governance processes to facilitate effective adoption and maintenance of solutions
• Establish best practices to ensure solutions are developed, implemented, and maintained with the best, consistent approach
• Manage team through solution development and delivery
• Communicate with stakeholders re: progress and challenges
• Manage issues effectively as they occur during the solution life cycle
• Investigate / resolve complex challenges blocking developer progression
• Stay abreast of latest technology developments and maintain a "trusted advisor" role with stakeholders
• Estimate software / service pricing related to solution design
• Solid understanding of BMO environments is an asset
