Developer, Agentic AI and Automation

Montréal, Québec preferred Work model: Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite in Montréal Flexibility: Candidates outside Montréal may be considered if they have a minimum understanding of French and can work onsite once every two weeks Contract options: Permanent or contract/freelance opportunities About the opportunity Amaris Consulting is looking for a hands-on Developer, Agentic AI and Automation to support the integration of Large Language Models into a large enterprise environment. You will help build an applied AI practice by developing autonomous agents, intelligent workflows, RAG solutions, Power Platform automations, enterprise integrations, and AI assistants. The ideal candidate has practical experience implementing LLM solutions in large organizations and can communicate technical work clearly to security, operations, delivery, and business stakeholders. Your role
• Design and develop autonomous AI agents that orchestrate workflows, call internal APIs, and interact with enterprise tools.
• Integrate AI solutions with platforms such as:
• Jira
• SharePoint
• Confluence
• ServiceNow
• Power Platform
• Develop intelligent automations using Power Automate, Power Apps, custom connectors, and REST APIs.
• Implement LLM and Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions to help teams find, generate, summarize, and analyze information.
• Build AI assistants and AI-enhanced workflows for delivery, operations, security, and business teams.
• Identify repetitive manual processes and propose AI solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop, test, deploy, monitor,



and continuously improve AI agents and automations.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, secure, maintainable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with Security, Operations, Delivery, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
• Contribute to AI architecture, integration patterns, technical documentation, and development standards.
• Act as an AI ambassador by sharing best practices, coaching colleagues, and supporting the organization’s AI strategy.
• Present prototypes, technical solutions, results, and recommendations to internal stakeholders. Required qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or equivalent languages.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Platform, or comparable automation tools.
• Practical experience implementing:
• Large Language Models
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation
• AI agents
• Agent orchestration
• Prompt engineering
• Tool calling
• Workflow automation
• Solid experience with REST APIs, custom connectors, webhooks, and enterprise-system integration.
• Experience with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence,



ServiceNow, Microsoft Graph, or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions, from requirements analysis and development through testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Minimum understanding of French. Preferred qualifications
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, MCP, or comparable agent frameworks.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, RAG evaluation, and knowledge assistants.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, containers, cloud services, monitoring, and automated testing.
• Experience in cybersecurity, asset protection, vulnerability management, application security, network security, infrastructure, or endpoint security.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
• Experience coaching teams and establishing practical AI development standards. About the team You will join a collaborative technical team focused on improving operational efficiency through applied AI, automation, and intelligent enterprise workflows. The team works across security, operations, delivery, infrastructure, and application environments. It is expanding its use of AI to support growing operational volumes and increasingly complex business and technology needs.
