• $70–$90 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the contract judgment you already have. The legal AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real lawyers. The teams building them need transactional lawyers to set up realistic deal negotiations and redline work, assess how AI handles contract language and legal risk, provide the answer a lawyer would give, and pinpoint failures in its reasoning. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of legal AI handles contracts and legal decisions. This is that work, done remotely around your current legal practice.
What you'll do
• Conduct mock deal negotiations and mark up commercial agreements
• Assess how AI handles contract fact patterns, noting what it gets right, where risks appear, and which points are inaccurate
• Use the project's scoring framework to rate contract-review work the same way each time
• Explain the legal analysis in practical feedback the model can use to improve its accuracy and judgment Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $70–$90 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most transactional lawyers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping transactional law, and the lawyers who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute Who this is for
• Have transactional legal experience spanning 1 to 3 years, gained in a law firm or in-house setting
• Have worked with commercial deal documents, including master services agreements or nondisclosure agreements
• Professional fluency in English; strong written communication, solid verbal communication, analytical reasoning, and close attention to detail
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools. Pay and details
• $70–$90 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, Canada
