Join us and help run what runs the world. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support a strategic improvement project. This internship offers hands-on experience in process optimization and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic industrial environment. The work model for the role is on site. This role is contributing to the Reliagear/Electrification/Smart Power in Montreal. You will be mainly accountable for:
• Assist in analyzing current material flow from reception to production, testing, and packaging.
• Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance material handling efficiency.
• Participate in lean-based initiatives aimed at reducing waste and improving inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Help document current and improved processes, including visual standards and operating instructions.
• Contribute to layout optimization efforts to improve material accessibility and workflow.
• Conduct basic root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor key metrics such as material availability, cycle time, and inventory turnover.
• Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic standards during project execution. Qualifications for the role




• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use CAD software (Autocad/Solidworks)
• Interest in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
