About the Role
We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our friendly and collaborative team at Fort Garry Veterinary Hospital. we’d love to hear from you In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to use your technical skills, contribute to a positive patient experience, and support our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical and surgical care. What You’ll Do
• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients throughout their visit.
• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients under anesthesia and provide appropriate perioperative care.
• Perform RVT duties within your scope of practice, including patient assessments, sample collection, laboratory diagnostics, and medical treatments.
• Support preventative healthcare, including vaccinations, wellness visits, and client education.
• Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ care, treatment plans, and at-home instructions.
• Help create a calm, welcoming experience for pets and their families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols for patient safety and infection control.
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and the broader hospital team.
• Contribute to a supportive learning environment and the continued development of the team. What We’re Looking For
• A diploma in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program.
• Registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Veterinary Technologist in Manitoba.
• A passion for animal health, patient advocacy, and compassionate care.




• Strong communication and client service skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing your skills.
