This role will be responsible for working within our local electrical team and designing project across various sectors such as commercial,



institutional, educational, and healthcare while under the guidance of a senior engineer. You will be able to work in a hybrid mode from the Edmonton Office. Primary Responsibilities
• Design, drafting, and modelling of electrical systems for buildings including lighting, lighting controls, power distribution, communication, security, and fire alarm.
• Working with engineers to ensure that design aspects have been incorporated.
• Coordination with other building disciplines.
• Design calculations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
• Site visits to review existing site conditions or for documentation of ongoing construction projects.
• Continued professional development through participation in internal and external learning opportunities. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Robust written and confident verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and ability to take initiative.
• Experience using AutoCAD and REVIT considered a plus.
• Experience using electrical design software such as SKM PowerTools, ETAP, or EasyPower considered a plus. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office
