We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians (mechanical, electrical, tooling, and methods). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the complete electrical and automation systems required for machines or industrial systems, from concept through to commissioning and client handover.
Design and develop complete electrical and automation systems based on concepts defined by the engineering team. Produce electrical designs and documentation, including schematics, main control panels, auxiliary panels, and junction boxes. Select appropriate electrical components and communicate with suppliers to ensure optimal equipment selection and compliance with project requirements. Supervise the reception and validation of electrical components. Oversee electrical technicians during the fabrication and assembly of control panels. Develop and program control systems for selected PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Program and integrate industrial robots when applicable, ensuring seamless interaction with the overall system. Perform system startup, testing, and commissioning once the mechanical and electrical systems are complete. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary adjustments to meet design objectives. Collaborate with clients throughout the system approval process, both in-house and on-site. Travel to client sites for equipment installation, commissioning, and support. Prepare all required technical documentation, including user manuals, operation guides, and system documentation.
