Gas-Fitter and Boiler Technician to join our Plumbing Service team in MNBS. The successful candidate will bring a strong commercial service background and demonstrated experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and servicing of commercial plumbing and mechanical systems.

Department: Plumbing Service – MNBS
Pay: $66.00/hour + Union Package
Vacation Pay / Statutory Holiday Pay: Included in the stated hourly rate

The Role

A Journeyman Service Plumber, Gas-Fitter and Boiler Technician is responsible for servicing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and commissioning commercial plumbing and mechanical systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong service background and be comfortable working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship, safety, customer service, and documentation.

Experience with commercial boilers, hydronic heating systems, pumps, controls, domestic hot water systems, backflow prevention, and gas-fired equipment is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Journeyman Service Plumber, Gas-Fitter and Boiler Technician include, but are not limited to:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service commercial plumbing and mechanical systems.

Perform preventative maintenance on commercial plumbing and mechanical equipment.

Service and maintain commercial boilers and hydronic heating systems.

Diagnose and service pumps, controls, and related mechanical equipment.

Service domestic hot water systems and associated equipment.

Inspect, test, service, and maintain backflow prevention equipment.
