Join our team at Trail Appliances as a Service Technician, where you'll play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing appliances in our customers’ homes. Whether you're a certified technician or working toward your certification, this position offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow in a quick-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll be responsible for evaluating appliance issues, completing repairs using manufacturer documentation, and delivering an exceptional service experience aligned with Trail’s As a Service Technician, you will: Evaluate, diagnose, and repair a wide range of appliances (laundry, kitchen, refrigeration). Provide professional and courteous service at all customer touchpoints. Use service manuals and bulletins to perform accurate diagnostics. Communicate repair findings clearly to customers and escalate concerns as needed.



Support junior apprentices and actively engage in training opportunities. Have an Appliance Service Technician Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) or enrollment in a registered apprenticeship program through SkilledTradesBC. Have a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract. Have a “C” Gas Ticket issued by Technical Safety BC (required for gas appliance repair). Have a proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Experience with sealed system repairs (refrigeration units) is an asset. Be Detail-oriented with a customer-first attitude.
