TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Senior AI Engineer Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for a 6-month contract. ~ Design and develop LLM-powered applications using Python. ~ Build AI agents and workflows using LangGraph. ~ Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using embeddings and vector search. ~ Build and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. ~ Implement LLM monitoring, tracing, and evaluation using Langfuse. ~ Develop and deploy AI services on Google Cloud, including Vertex AI and BigQuery. ~ Build REST APIs, automated tests, and production-ready AI solutions. ~ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable AI applications. ~5+ years of software development experience.
~2+ years of hands-on experience developing AI/LLM-powered applications. ~ Robust Python, LangGraph/LangChain, RAG, and prompt engineering skills. ~ Experience with Langfuse or similar LLM observability tools. ~ Understanding of MCP, REST APIs, vector databases, and Google Cloud. ~ Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and responsible AI practices.
