Aramark is currently seeking Cooks for the food service operation at Bishop's University. Bishop's University (2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1Z7) Full-time position, variable schedule (35 to 40 hours/week) Wage: Between $21.00 and $24.00 per hour, based on experience, to be discussed during the interview Part-time position, variable schedule (15 to 20 hours/week) Wage: Between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour, based on experience, to be discussed during the interview Immediate Cook and prepare a variety of food items following production guidelines and standardized recipes. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, slicing, and peeling food items. Ensure quantities are accurate and that quality meets Aramark standards. Optimize food costs. Participate in meal service. Assist with inventory counts. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures, and MAPAQ regulations. Minimum of three years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry. Catering experience is considered an asset. MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate is considered an asset. Excellent customer service skills.
