Position Summary

We are a professional family with a rapidly growing business and are looking for a trustworthy individual who is interested in housekeeping, cooking, and childcare. This position is a part-time role, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of both company and personal properties, as well as taking care of a one-year-old child.

Job Tasks

Your main duties will include:

- Supervising the children’s activities and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Small educational activities with children
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks for the children
- Preparing meals in an approved cycle menu with standardized recipes
- Playing with the children and engaging them in fun and creative activities
- Driving the children as required
- Following our instructions and guidelines regarding the children’s routines, discipline, and health
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of company and personal properties, including the windows, floors, bathrooms, kitchen, furniture, appliances, etc.
- Planting, weeding, trimming, transplanting in flower and vegetable gardens
- Respecting our privacy and confidentiality at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record




- A criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in childcare
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively and politely with us and the children
- A friendly, trustworthy, and respectful personality
- A love for children and a passion for their development
- Must meet Canadian Language Benchmark level 5

Education and Experience

Grade 12 Education or equivalent. One year of Canadian post-secondary education or foreign equivalent would be considered an asset.

At least 2 years’ experience in childcare.

Experience in housekeeping is an asset.

Experience with farming and agriculture safety practices is an asset.

Education in Continuing Childcare is an asset.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
