Position: HACCP Facilitator
Wage: $18-$24 per hour

About Us

At Nossack Fine Meats, food safety, quality, and tradition are at the core of everything we do. We are seeking a dedicated HACCP Facilitator to support our food safety and quality control programs, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and maintain high standards throughout our food production operations.

Position Objective

To support the implementation and maintenance of HACCP programs, monitor food safety practices, and ensure compliance with established food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct plant tours and pre-operational inspections.
- Perform microbiological testing and product sampling.
- Monitor GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, hygiene, and PPE compliance.
- Maintain HACCP plans and monitor CCPs.
- Oversee pest control and sanitation chemical use.
- Conduct internal audits and support Quality Control.
- Maintain food safety records and documentation.

Qualifications





- Post-secondary education in microbiology or chemistry are considered an asset.
- Minimum of one years of experience in the food or beverage processing industry.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety practices, and applicable CFIA regulations.
- HACCP certification and experience in quality assurance are considered assets.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production staff and management.
