Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Sewing Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating sewing machines to produce high-quality products efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments and possess a robust commitment to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities

- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble, repair, or customize Bags and dunnage for automotive packaging racks
- Ensure consistent quality by inspecting finished work for defects or inconsistencies
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures during sewing tasks
- Assist with inventory management by tracking materials used and reporting shortages
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines

Qualifications





- 1+ year of industrial sewing experience; automotive, upholstery or heavy-textile work is an asset
- Ability to operate multiple types of industrial sewing machines
- Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and consistent speed
- Able to read basic patterns, measurements and work instructions
- Able to communicate with management and team.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a production team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; training provided for the right candidate

Working conditions

- Manufacturing floor environment with machine noise
- Seated or standing for long periods with repetitive hand and arm movements
- Occasional lifting of material rolls and finished goods up to 23 kg (50 lb)
- Full-time, day shift, afternoons shift; overtime as production requires

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
