We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Vascular Technologists for our clinic in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Our clinic provides a range of services, including X-ray, Mammography, Bone Mineral Density, General Ultrasound, and Vascular Ultrasound. We are affiliated with the Ontario Breast Screening Program and are located between the Niagara Region and Hamilton.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality carotid, venous, and arterial ultrasounds Ensure the care provided is secure, appropriate, tailored, and timelyAccurately report findings via reporting software for interpreting physiciansDemonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Qualifications





Must be registered or eligible for registration with CMRITO and remain a member in good standing Current Sonography Canada member with professional liability insurance Familiarity with the examination of various vascular repair techniques, and with performing and interpreting ankle-brachial (ABI) and toe-brachial (TBI) indices Working knowledge of equipment and computer/ancillary systems used to acquire and process data for patient studies, modifying established techniques as required Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills to work effectively with other members of the healthcare team and with patients Excellent patient care skills with a patient-centred approach

One year of recent related experience (an asset)

Pay: $48.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
