Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plasma Table Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plasma cutting equipment, ensuring precision and quality in all work. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machinery, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality metal components efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Operate plasma cutting tables with precision according to detailed blueprints and specifications
- Set up and calibrate CNC plasma cutting
- Program CNC machines for various cutting and machining tasks using CAD/CAM software
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on plasma tables and associated equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate fabrication
- Conduct quality inspections on finished parts to verify dimensions and tolerances




- Assist with material handling using cranes or forklifts when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace following safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

- Proven experience operating plasma tables, CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, or similar manufacturing equipment
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Familiarity with CNC programming and setup procedures
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, hand tools safely
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during setup and inspection processes
- Knowledge of welding, machining, assembly, and quality inspection processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication preferred

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
