Support Worker/ Caregiver/ Respite

We’re looking for compassionate, dependable, experienced Support Workers to support children and young adults aged 2–17.

Shifts we are hiring for:
*Casual Evening and weekend shifts

Duties vary depending on each client’s needs.
Provide respite care and daily support.
Follow each client’s care plan.
Administer medication as directed.
Prepare meals that meet dietary needs.
Assist with mobility and transfers.
Support G-tube care when required.
Offer companionship and encouragement.
Plan fun, age-appropriate activities.
Community outings
Encourage independence and confidence.
Provide attentive supervision.
Keep the client’s setting protected and tidy.
Share key updates with families.
Report changes in health or behaviour.
Respect each client’s privacy and dignity.
Physical ability to lift and assist with mobility, as required

Requirements:

Valid First Aid certification
Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check
CFS Intervention Check
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
