We are a family in the Hamilton/Stoney Creek area looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to provide ongoing support with our 20-month-old daughter.

Our daughter attends daycare full-time, and one parent travels for work approximately one week per month. We are primarily looking for support during those travel weeks, usually for 2–3 hours on weekday afternoons/evenings, with occasional longer shifts depending on our work schedules.

Dates will vary each month, with as much advance notice as possible.

Depending on the day, the role may involve providing an extra set of hands while a parent is home or independently picking our daughter up from daycare and caring for her until we return from work.

Responsibilities may include:

- Daycare pickup and transportation home
- Playing and engaging with our daughter
- Preparing easy meals/snacks
- Helping with her evening and bedtime routine
- Light household tasks as time permits, including dishes, tidying toys/common areas, laundry, and simple meal preparation

Our daughter’s care and safety will always be the priority; household tasks are intended as light support rather than housekeeping.

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, as daycare pickup will sometimes be needed. Previous toddler/young-childcare experience is important, and CPR/First Aid certification is strongly preferred.

We hope to find someone who can become a familiar and trusted person for our daughter and provide recurring support to our family. There may also be opportunities for additional babysitting outside of the regular travel weeks.

Compensation will be based on experience and responsibilities, with reimbursement for required driving.

If interested, please send us a little about yourself, your childcare experience and availability, and confirm that you have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
