Housekeeper / Nanny — Part time, Long-Term (SW Calgary) We're a busy two-professional family in Southwest Calgary looking for a warm, reliable, and organized Housekeeper/Nanny to become a long-term part of our household. We have two children, both in elementary school, and we're looking for someone who genuinely loves kids, is engaged and present with them, and takes pride in running a well-kept home. Hours 25–30 hours every week, consistently. The typical schedule is:

- 5–6 hours per day, Monday to Thursday (afternoon and evening)
- One 5–6 hour shift on a weekend morning or evening
- 2–3 days per month, help with the morning routine when one parent is travelling — getting the kids ready and off to school

Being a great cook matters to us. This is one of the most important parts of the role. We want to walk in the door to a dinner that's ready so our evenings are spent with our kids, not in the kitchen. A typical afternoon
- Arrive, tidy the house, and start meal prep
- Pick up the kids from school (walking distance from our home)
- Snack, homework supervision, and engaged activities with the kids
- Finish cooking dinner as the parents arrive home
- Occasional driving to evening activities; otherwise, use that time for laundry and tidying

Household responsibilities
- Family laundry and making beds
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Cleaning and vacuuming common areas daily
- Taking out the trash




- Putting away grocery deliveries; organizing extra groceries, cleaning supplies, and kids' toys in the basement storage
- Keeping an eye on what the household needs and adding items to our shared grocery list/calendar
- Seasonal rotation of the kids' clothes and toys
- General household management

Deep cleaning is not part of the regular role. We have a separate cleaner who comes every few weeks. That said, if you'd like the extra work, we're happy to offer an additional 4–5 hours every two weeks for deep cleaning instead. Requirements
- Valid driver's licence. A family vehicle is provided for family use; if we occasionally need to use your personal vehicle, we'll reimburse mileage.
- Strong cooking skills — able to plan and prepare healthy, family-friendly dinners
- Experience with school-age children
- Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently
- References required

What we're looking for Someone who wants a stable, long-term position and who will bring that same stability to our family. We travel for work at times, so we need a person we can fully trust with our children and our home — someone who notices what needs doing, cares about our kids' well-being, and enjoys being part of their day.
