Our Events Department at Moxies Barlow and Sandman Signature Calgary Airport is looking for enthusiastic Event Servers to join our team as we prepare for the busy Christmas season and a growing calendar of high-volume corporate meetings, conferences, celebrations, and special events.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality, thrives in a high-energy environment, and wants to gain experience in banquet service and event operations with one of Canada’s fastest-growing hospitality groups.
Provide attentive, professional service during corporate events, holiday parties, meetings, banquets, and private celebrations
Assist with event setup, room resets, service execution, and teardown
Serve plated meals, buffets, receptions, and beverage service with confidence and efficiency
Review event details and communicate closely with the Event Captain, culinary team, and Events Department
Help keep event spaces polished, organized, and guest-ready
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
A strong sense of urgency and the ability to maintain momentum during busy events




A proactive approach to guest service and a willingness to go the extra mile
Flexible availability, particularly for evenings, weekends, corporate functions, and holiday events
The physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely bend, carry, and lift throughout a shift
Previous restaurant, banquet, catering, or event-service experience is an asset
Familiarity with basic audio-visual equipment is an asset
