HR Coordinator Salmon Arm, BC | On-site

$Are you an HR qualified who enjoys working closely with employees and operational leaders in a fast-paced, unionized environment? We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join our client in Salmon Arm, BC!

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, strengthening employee relations, and fostering a safe, respectful, and productive workplace.

Provide guidance to leaders on labour relations, collective agreement interpretation, employee relations, attendance, and performance management.

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, training, and workforce planning.

Manage HR administration, employee records, benefits, payroll support, and disability management.

Ensure compliance with employment legislation, collective agreements, and company policies.

Build strong relationships with employees, leaders, and union representatives while supporting employee engagement and continuous improvement.





3–5 years of progressive HR experience.

- A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CPHR designation is an asset.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices, Microsoft Office, and HRIS systems.
- Manufacturing, forestry, or industrial experience is an asset.

Competitive salary of $70,000–$85,000

This position is on-site in Salmon Arm, BC. The successful candidate must pass a drug and alcohol test.
