Reporting directly to the Director of the Emergency Program at Halton Healthcare, the OTMH Emergency Department (ED) Patient Care Manager (PCM) works in collaboration with the ED leadership team; the OTMH Chief of the ED, OTMH ED Professional Practice Clinician, and Clinical Resource Nurses to implement clinical program priorities, oversee the daily operations, and professional practice of the Emergency Department.
They are responsible for overseeing daily operations and safe, quality of care for the Emergency Department. This includes planning, implementing and evaluating activities related to the provision of high quality patient & family centered care services and programs; The ED PCM is instrumental in leading and supporting the growth and maintenance of relationships with internal, cross-site and external stakeholders, collaborating with inpatient and support service managers to identify and collaboratively develop process improvement strategies with a goal of system optimization. This role is critical in supporting partnerships with EMS, Police and other community partners, and the MH-LHIN.

Bachelor of Nursing Degree
A minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership in a similar hospital environment
Emergency Department clinical experience preferred




Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to foster team building
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour Days (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $66.122 - $82.639 per hour
