Security Skilled – High-End Retail

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Shift Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

We are seeking a highly professional, customer-service-oriented Security Professional to join our team at a prestigious high-end retail location in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, protecting store assets, deterring potential theft, and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and discretion.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills,



and the ability to respond confidently and appropriately to security-related incidents in a luxury retail environment.

Monitor store entrances, exits, sales floors, and other designated areas to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Conduct routine security patrols and maintain a visible, professional presence to deter theft and unauthorized activity.

Observe, identify, and report suspicious behaviour in accordance with established security protocols.

Welcome customers courteously and provide professional assistance when required.

Respond promptly and calmly to disturbances, emergencies, and other security-related concerns.

Communicate security concerns and incidents promptly to store management and law enforcement when appropriate.

Assist with emergency evacuations, safety inspections, and other emergency response procedures.

Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.

Excellent observation, communication, and customer service skills.

Professional appearance, courteous demeanour, and the ability to represent a high-end retail brand.

Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain attentive throughout the shift.

Ability to follow established security procedures and de-escalate conflicts safely and professionally.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, store personnel, management, and emergency responders.

Previous experience in retail security, luxury retail, or loss prevention is considered an asset.

Valid First Aid and CPR certification is considered an asset.

Ability to work the assigned Monday-to-Friday schedule consistently.

The successful candidate must demonstrate integrity, discretion, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing a secure and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and visitors. A polished professional presence and a customer-focused approach are essential for this assignment.
