Software Engineering, Network Administration, or a related field with a strong focus on cyber security. Equivalent experience will also be considered.Strong analytical thinking, and the ability to spot patterns, trends and reason through problemsUnderstanding of the up-to-date Internet, protocols, cyber threats and malwareAbility to take a wide, high-level perspective to prioritize, then drill down and get deep in the weedsData and metadata analysis using tools like Python, ELKNetwork analysis and packet capture using tools like Wireshark, TsharkBroad general IT knowledge, including Windows enterprise networks, operating systems, virtualized and cloud-based infrastructureClear and effective communication in writingThriving in a collaborative environment, both asking for and providing helpHaving a deep curiosity and the ability to follow and investigate leadsKnowledge of cyber security practices, challenges, tools, and techniquesOccasional weekend daytime shifts will be required as part of a team that rotates to maintain complete operational coverageOccasional travel may be required for this roleAdded Bonuses:Application protocol analysisMalware reverse engineering,
